This was my summer 2011 project. I bought a power wheelchair from a local Thrift Store. The power wheelchair was not in a working condition, the joystick was torn up, and the two batteries were not able to hold any charges. So I took off the sit and used the frame and the motors for this project. My plan was to make it remote control instead of using the unusable joystick. So I went online and found me a Sabertooth 2x25 speed control which allowed me to be able to control it remotely with my Futaba remote controller.
After put everything together, I got what you see on the video. I know that I am being very general here. So if you have any questions about how the video, please feel free ask.

    thanks, And sure i will be glad to help you out with that. it might take me while though( have school). i will try to do it as soon as possible. when do you want to start your project?
